Data Synchronization with Android or iOS

This information applies to mobileTMA installed on Android or iOS devices.

To synchronize with mobileTMA, tap the Data Sync icon on the Main Menu.

During Data Sync, the handheld device stores downloaded information about each of the items checked on the Download Options window. Each item of data transferred is shown as a line entry on the window. Each line entry begins with a symbol to indicate upload or download.

Downloaded items are identified by a red arrow arcing downward:

Uploaded items are identified by a blue arrow arcing upward:

Uploaded and downloaded work orders display both symbols:

New work orders are downloaded and some of the changes and new records are uploaded from the handheld device.

medTester Users. If you use both the medTester interface as well as mobileTMA, remember that medTester PM work orders are not transferred to the Android or iOS unit. PMs for medTester are transferred to the medTester device itself where the PMs are performed.
