This information applies to mobileTMA installed on Android or iOS devices.
All information that you record on the handheld device during the course of your workday is merged with other WebTMA data when you tap the Sync
icon. Enter data carefully on the unit when you do any of the following to assure a successful data transfer (see Caution note below).
During the Sync, new information is added to the records on the WebTMA server. If work orders are created on the handheld device, the work order numbers are assigned by WebTMA after the data is uploaded.
Enter data carefully. The area and tag number must be valid WebTMA record numbers for a work order to transfer successfully from mobileTMA to WebTMA. If problems occur, these are identified with error notations on the Data Sync window and on the View Error Log.
The Data Sync window shows you the actions taking place. When the action is completed, the window displays all the item types that are transferred with error notations adjacent to any line entries that were not transferred.
