The records downloaded are based on the value from the WebTMA Technician window. The value in the MobileTMA Days field determines how many days forward the system checks for outstanding work and represents the number of days in the future. If the field shows a value of 3, WebTMA downloads work orders for the current day plus the next three days. For example, if the value is 3 and the current day is the 6th, work orders through the 9th are downloaded. If the field is empty, WebTMA automatically downloads work orders for the current day plus the next two days, as if the value in the field were 2.
When the download process is complete, the Home Page displays a summary of work orders, pending authorization, labor hours, and unpushed (not yet uploaded) records. The Work Orders line shows the total number work orders that were downloaded and includes the number of "unread" records in parenthesis. The term "unread" means the technician has not opened that record. These unread records are also flagged with a blue orb on the Work Orders List window to help the technician locate them easily.
If you are connected to the main server via WiFi or Cellular, new and edited records are automatically uploaded to the main server when saved.
Even though records are sent to the server, most remain on the iPad for 24 hours as a convenient reference. You have the option to remove all the records on a page using Clear on the title bar or individual lines using the Delete button. Records are removed from the iPad, not the server.
Tap Refresh to download work orders assigned to the logged in technician, update pending authorizations, and update similar data from the server.
From the Home page, tap the Main Menu button to see all the functions available with WebTMA GO.
